GAME SUMMARY
The Dodgers came out with bats blazing scoring 3 runs on 5 hits in the top of the first and then held on to stop a rallying Angels club, winning 6 - 4. The Angels Conor Evers, Peter Cornforth, Kevin Donovan, and Shane Metternick had consecutive hits around a Ryan Evers walk and produced two clutch runs in the 4th. Hits from Dave Boudrot,Enzo Caruso, and Peter Conrforth plated one run for the Angels in the 5th, and Metternick and Jack Zarbo did the same in the 6th. Ryan and Conor Evers pitched well to keep the game close in the last 3 innings. The Dodgers were led by 3 hits from James Horgan, 2 each from Will Frain & Alli Chapdelaine, and clutch hits from Cole Abdinoor, Ethan Dwyer, Finn Brophy, and Jack Stewart. Dwyer also put down a classic sacrifice bunt which produced a big run in the bottom of the 5th. The Dodgers Will Frain threw 2 socreless innings. Then Ethan Dwyer pitched 2 1/3 innings of middle relief, and handed the ball over to James Horgan. Jared McLaughlin came in to retire the final Angels batter - a grounder to second which was scooped up and thrown out by Alli Chapdelaine.
